This was taken during a walk I’ve done more times than I can count. The trail isn’t anything special on paper, but that night the light was doing something different. It was October, the air felt good, and I had just started editing my photos a new way — something about it made everything click again. I didn’t set out to get this shot. I just stopped for a minute and looked at the way the sun hit the water and the rocks. I try to take those pauses more seriously now.
