My wife and I took our first trip to New York City on a weekend that brought more clouds than sun. But as we walked toward One World Trade, something shifted — the sky opened up just enough to give us this view. For a few minutes, everything felt still. It was the one time all weekend the light showed up for us. I took this photo not to document the landmark, but to remember that small, shared feeling of awe — standing there with the person I love, looking up at something massive, grateful the sky finally cleared.
